OUR MISSION-
The Fayetteville Traditional Dance Society is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of traditional American dance and music.

Monthly Dances:
Contra Dance, 7:00-9:00pm. You can look forward to an evening full of contras, squares, circles, and waltzes. All dances are taught and called. No previous experience or partner is required. It’s easy and fun. Just a short walk through lesson and you’re ready to dance!
Location:
We are at the Shelton-Tucker-Craft American Legion Post 27, 1195 S. Curtis Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701 (see the map below).
Dates and Times:
Dances are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of each month 6:00-9:00pm, doors open at 5:30pm. Beginner instruction for Contra starts promptly at 7:00pm.
Admission:
Admission is $10 per adult dancer, $5 for students, and a maximum of $40 per family (immediate family living under one roof).
COVID/Flu Restrictions - If you do not feel well, please stay home. :-(
FTDS dances are open to the public and are non-smoking. Dress is casual and we recommend flat comfortable shoes.
All of our dances have live music provided by The Old 78s. You can find them at theold78s.com .
